That’s when we discovered matcha. The clean, steady caffeine hit was a revelation. It wasn’t just a drink — it was a little boost of joy, a moment of clarity in the chaos. For us, it became more than a swap from coffee. It became something we truly loved.

But as we looked around, we realised there wasn’t a matcha brand that truly reflected what matcha felt like to us. Most of it was serious or intimidating, We wanted more. We wanted matcha to feel alive, to be loud, bold, playful, a little rebellious, just like how we approach life.

So we went all in. Months of testing ceremonial grades, tweaking blends, debating colours and aromas, arguing over grind sizes. We became full-time matcha taste-testers.
